How do you install Kemo IPTV on Android phone & tablet?

You need your Kemo IPTV login (from the welcome email or the free trial) and about 5 minutes. The login type for this device is Xtream Codes or M3U. Follow these 5 steps in order.

  1. Step 1: Install the player

Open Google Play and search “IPTV Smarters Pro” or “XCIPTV”. If neither is listed in your country, ask support for the official download link and allow your browser to install apps when Android asks.

  2. Step 2: Open and accept the terms

Launch the player, agree to its terms of use, then pick Login with Xtream Codes API (Smarters) or Xtream Codes (XCIPTV).

  3. Step 3: Paste rather than type

Copy each of the three login fields from your welcome email and paste it in. Long-press a field → Paste. This avoids typos with capital letters and ports.

  4. Step 4: Wait for the first sync

The app downloads live channels, movies and series. On mobile data this uses a few MB; on Wi-Fi it takes under a minute.

  5. Step 5: Turn on picture-in-picture

Android Settings → Apps → IPTV Smarters → Picture-in-picture → Allow. Now pressing Home while a channel plays keeps it in a small floating window.

What if it doesn't work on Android phone & tablet?

Most problems on Android phone & tablet come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues our technicians see most on this device, with the fix that usually solves them.

Video plays but there's no sound

In the app's Settings → Player, switch from the default player to the native or VLC player. Some phones can't decode certain audio formats in one player but can in another.

Battery drains fast

Lower screen brightness and use Wi-Fi rather than 5G. Streaming over 5G keeps the modem busy and drains battery faster.

Android phone & tablet tips from our technicians

  • An hour of HD on 5G eats about 1.5 to 3 GB of your allowance, so check your data plan before a full match.
  • Use the Cast icon or Smart View to send the stream to a TV on the same Wi-Fi.
  • On tablets, landscape mode shows the EPG and the video side by side in most players.

Kemo IPTV on Android phone & tablet: FAQ

Can I watch Kemo IPTV on mobile data?

Yes. Any 4G or 5G connection with 10 Mbps or more handles HD. Keep an eye on your allowance, since each HD hour takes 1.5 to 3 GB.

Does the phone count as a connection?

Only while it's playing. If you have one connection and someone is watching the TV, the phone stream will stop the other one or refuse to play.
