Kemo IPTV on Samsung Smart TV: Step-by-Step Setup
Samsung TVs from 2018 onwards (Tizen OS) can run Kemo IPTV without an extra box. You install a player from the Samsung Apps store, register the TV's MAC address on the player's website, and paste your M3U link. Allow about 15 minutes the first time.

How do you install Kemo IPTV on Samsung Smart TV?
You need your Kemo IPTV login (from the welcome email or the free trial) and about 15 minutes. The login type for this device is M3U link via MAC registration (Xtream in some apps). Follow these 6 steps in order.
Step 1: Find the player in Samsung Apps
From the Home bar, open Apps (the four-square grid), then use the search magnifier to look for “IBO Player” or “IPTV Smarters”.
Step 2: Install and launch the player
Select Install, then Open. The first screen shows a MAC address and a device key. Take a photo of it with your phone.
Step 3: Register the TV online
On your phone or computer, open the player's official website and choose Manage playlist / Upload playlist. Enter the MAC address and device key exactly as shown on the TV.
Step 4: Add your Kemo IPTV playlist
Paste the M3U link from your welcome email into the Playlist URL field, give it a name, and save. Some apps also have an Xtream tab — use it if available.
Step 5: Restart the app on the TV
Close the player (hold Back) and open it again. Your playlist appears; select it and wait for channels and the guide to load.
Step 6: Add the app to the Home bar
Home → Apps → highlight the player → press down → Add to Home. It now sits next to your other streaming apps.
What if it doesn't work on Samsung Smart TV?
Most problems on Samsung Smart TV come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues our technicians see most on this device, with the fix that usually solves them.
The player isn't in the Samsung store
App availability depends on your TV model and region. Check Settings → Support → About This TV for the year; models before 2018 have limited choices — a Firestick is the easier route.
Playlist doesn't appear after uploading
Double-check the MAC address (0 vs O, 1 vs I). Then in the TV app use Settings → Reload playlist or Refresh.

- Turn off Settings → General → Eco Solution → Auto Power Off while testing, or the TV may sleep mid-setup.
- Wire the TV with Ethernet if possible; built-in Wi-Fi on many Samsung sets is slower than a modern stick's.
- Picture mode “Movie” or “Filmmaker Mode” stops the TV oversharpening low-bitrate channels.

Do I have to pay for the Samsung player app?
Some apps like IBO Player charge their own one-time activation after a trial period. That fee goes to the app developer, not to Kemo IPTV. IPTV Smarters on Tizen is free where available.
My Samsung TV is from 2016. Will it work?
Possibly, but app choice on older Tizen versions is very limited. A Firestick or Android TV box plugged into the HDMI port is faster and gets app updates.
