Kemo IPTV on iPad: Step-by-Step Setup

The iPad's large screen makes it a good second TV for Kemo IPTV. You use the same App Store players as on iPhone, with extras like Split View and Stage Manager so you can watch a match beside a browser or chat. Expect about 5 minutes for setup.

How do you install Kemo IPTV on iPad?

You need your Kemo IPTV login (from the welcome email or the free trial) and about 5 minutes. The login type for this device is Xtream Codes or M3U. Follow these 5 steps in order.

  1. Step 1: Install the player

App Store → Search → “GSE Smart IPTV” → Get. iPadOS 15 or newer is recommended.

  2. Step 2: Add an Xtream account

In GSE open the menu → Xtream Codes API → + → enter a name, server URL, username and password. Save and tap the account to load it.

  3. Step 3: Load the EPG

GSE: Remote Playlists → EPG → add the EPG link from your welcome email if the guide doesn't appear automatically.

  4. Step 4: Use Split View

While a channel plays, tap the three dots at the top of the screen → Split View and pick a second app. Drag the divider to resize.

  5. Step 5: Lock rotation for bed viewing

Open Control Centre and tap the rotation lock so the picture doesn't flip when you lie down.

What if it doesn't work on iPad?

Most problems on iPad come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues our technicians see most on this device, with the fix that usually solves them.

Video goes black in Split View

Some players pause when they lose focus. Use picture-in-picture instead: swipe home while playing, then open the other app.

Guide is empty

Add the EPG URL manually (step 3) and set the time zone in the app's EPG settings.

iPad tips from our technicians

  • iPads with Wi-Fi 6/6E (iPad Air M1+, Pro M1+) handle 4K better on a modern router.
  • A USB-C to HDMI adapter turns the iPad into a portable box for hotel TVs.
  • Turn on Guided Access for kids so they can't leave the player app.

Kemo IPTV on iPad: FAQ

Can kids use Kemo IPTV on the iPad safely?

Most players have a parental control PIN that hides adult categories. Combine it with iPadOS Screen Time for app limits.

Does the iPad count as a separate connection?

Yes, while it's streaming. If you often watch on the iPad while someone uses the TV, you need at least 2 connections.
