How do you install Kemo IPTV on Windows PC?
You need your Kemo IPTV login (from the welcome email or the free trial) and about 6 minutes. The login type for this device is M3U (VLC) or Xtream Codes (Smarters). Follow these 5 steps in order.
Step 1: Install VLC
Download VLC from videolan.org (the official site) and install it with the default options.
Step 2: Open your playlist
In VLC choose Media → Open Network Stream (Ctrl+N), paste the M3U link from your welcome email and click Play.
Step 3: Show the channel list
Press Ctrl+L or choose View → Playlist. Use the search box at the top right to find a channel by name.
Step 4: Or install IPTV Smarters
For a TV-style interface, download IPTV Smarters for Windows from the developer's official site, install it, and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
Step 5: Enter your Xtream details
Give the profile any name, paste the username, password and server address from the email without changing them, and click Add User.
What if it doesn't work on Windows PC?
Most problems on Windows PC come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues our technicians see most on this device, with the fix that usually solves them.
Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer
Only for files from the developer's official site: click More info → Run anyway. Never do this for installers from unknown sources.
VLC loads thousands of channels slowly
Ask support for a filtered M3U (e.g. only US + sports). A smaller playlist opens in seconds.
Windows PC tips from our technicians
- Connect the PC to the TV with an HDMI cable and press Win+P → Duplicate for a big-screen setup.
- In VLC, Tools → Preferences → Input/Codecs → Hardware-accelerated decoding → Automatic.
- Use an Ethernet cable for desktop PCs near the router.
